Chicago-based photographer Robert Shiverts is known for his wide array of exceptional work, spanning several styles of portraiture across the professions, and his coverage of corporate, business, music, theatre and artist events.
Prior to opening up his own independent practice, he worked as a director of photography and as a lead photographer for the most established company in the trade show industry with clients who own or manage many of the top 100 Trade Shows; as well as shooting corporate events, celebrity galas, and the performing arts.

Robert has served for the past ten years as the lead photographer for the American College of Surgeons annual meeting. Robert’s photography skills are exemplary. He takes a thoughtful approach to setting up the posed shots. We also request candid photos at our events, and Robert has given us many wonderful close-ups, capturing people in unguarded smiling or studious moments. Those are some of my favorite photos that he’s taken.
